The observation of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises [SEV] that the longer the pre-election period the greater the danger of a transient recession is noteworthy.  

The aim of the SYRIZA-Independent Greeks government is clear. It wants to win over as many social groups and strata as possible so as to avert an electoral trouncing.

Theodoros Fessas, the head of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, underlined that “All politicians, on both sides [the two largest political parties] are distributing money which does not exist,” he said.
