Police Violence

After the chaos that prevailed when SYRIZA was in power these stricter measures were necessary and public opinion approves of them.

The only thing certain is that the occupiers used violence. They themselves admitted that they threw a number of objects toward the policemen on the street..

The incident flared up a dispute between the government and main opposition SYRIZA, which claims that the government’s law and order policy has led to a rising incidence of police violence and brutality.

If the police are unable to isolate a small number of troublemakers, either they are incompetent or they are executing instructions unrelated to maintaining order issued by their superiors.

The ruling SYRIZA party should explain why after failing to create its Utopia it cannot check the excessive zeal that is often exhibited by police.
